Hvem har stjålet Jesus?

Employees at St. Peter's Church awoke to an unsettling Christmas discovery yesterday morning. Vandals had pried the plexiglas from the front of the their outdoor nativity scene and stolen a foot-long figurine of the baby Jesus, the police said. The police are investigating the incident as a robbery and vandalism. According to police Sgt. Tim O'Malley, evidence at the scene suggested that the figurine had been damaged, not just stolen. The nativity scene's other figures were undisturbed. The police is encouraging residents with information about the crime to contact the department at 225-8600.
